Now I Understand Kellyanne Conway

She was the bullied, fugly girl in high school, so now she is bullying others.

How very nice of her.

So in other words, she is a product of abuse and is now a sociopath.

Ted Bundy is now in the political arena.

How very nice.

Dear Friends and Visitors

I am bewildered by this election cycle.

In Australia we've had our fair share of bizarre moments from politicians. However, I don't think I've ever seen something on the scale of Mr Trump.

This business man is, in my opinion, nothing of which we would want in our President.

He is loud. Boorish. Racist. Sexist. A megalomaniac. And an identified sociopath.
A President needs to be introspective, able to look beyond self, accept opinions and the input of others, and act with diplomacy and thoughtfulness.
None of these traits apply to Mr Trump.

But there's another personal issue.

I have 2 nieces with my family, 2 more with my extended family here in the USA. I have a great-niece. I have female cousins. I have female in-laws due to the marriages of my extended and blood family. I have female friends who I consider my family. I have a beautiful sister-in-law. And I have a friend of 26 years who is female with a daughter, and two friends of 21 years who have a daughter, both of whom I believe to be the examples of great parenting. And then there is my mother. A wonderful, loving, strong woman.

I have wonderful female friends in New Zealand and Australia and the USA. So let me simply finish with this;

I respect you all too much to believe in the leadership of a man who does not respect you, your bodies, or your worth.
You are all worthy, beautiful and deserving of so much more in the leader of a country that has so much influence and reach in global affairs.

I do not accept the candidacy of Donald Trump.

I urge all those who can vote to vote for Hillary Clinton.

Your discomfort with the conspiracy theories of the Clintons is not enough to have you not vote Hillary Clinton.

There is so much more at stake than unqualified 3rd party protest votes and your dislikes.
This election is about a leader that will not only respect all those beautiful women I know, but will also work on THEIR behalf once in office.

Donald Trump will not do this.

And women deserve more.

Rudy Giuliani Is 10lbs of Batsh*t Crazy...

...in a 1lb bag!

This from Joe My God -link in sidebar.

Hillary Clinton’s decision to stand by her husband and attack former White House intern Monica Lewinsky when news of a sexual relationship between the two broke in 1998 prove that the former secretary of state is “too stupid to be president,” Rudy Giuliani said Monday night.

The former New York City mayor made the remark, captured on video and posted to Twitter by Elite Daily writer Alexandra Svokos, in response to a question about Clinton’s attack on Trump’s past comments about women. Giuliani defended Trump, labeling him a “feminist” because of how he treats the women he employs, and said he would have responded to Clinton’s attacks much more harshly than the GOP nominee did.

Trump himself said Monday night and again Tuesday morning that he had considered raising the former president’s history of marital infidelities as a response to the former secretary of state’s attacks. He opted against it, he said, because the couple’s daughter, Chelsea Clinton, was in attendance and he though such an attack would be in poor taste.

Ugh.  I think Rudy Giuliani is going sooky-la-la-eccentric as old, wealthy, white shitheads do.

Someone get him to the sunroom on a permanent basis STAT!

So Hillary Is A Badass Working Mum

Which is fine with me.

We've all had Mums who are sick, still go to work, still turn up at our sports practice, still cooks / cleans / washes / takes care of us.

So I am all good with that.

Coz I would rather have a badass Mum who will turn up even when she is sick because she is counted on and doesn't want to disappoint, more than a retarded Cheetoh who would probably collapse if he got even a sniffle.

Hillary is a badass.  I want a President who is a Badass.

No Same Sex Marriage For Australia

Well well well.  The Wicked Witch of Down Under broke his promise.  Now he says no same sex marriage plebiscite until 2017.

Ugh.  What a dreadful, small little man.  Wealth clearly cannot buy integrity.

The plebiscite to decide whether marriage equality should be legalised in Australia will be held in February 2017.  The Daily Telegraph reported late today that the issue would not be put to the Australian public until early next year.

Australia's Horrid Prime Minister - Malcolm Turnbull @TurnbullMalcolm

Malcolm Turnbull, the prime minister, had pledged before the July election to hold the plebiscite before the end of the year.  The plebiscite will reportedly ask: “Do you approve of a law to permit people of the same sex to marry?”  The government had considered other options for the question, but those would be abandoned after testing poorly in focus groups funded by activists.
Voting would be compulsory with fines imposed for those who failed to do so.

The Daily Telegraph reported that the prime minister would announce the new timeline at a Coalition party room meeting on 13 September, during the second week of parliamentary sittings.
It also reported that Bill Shorten, the Labor leader, would launch a last-minute bid to overthrow the plebiscite in the coming weeks, introducing a private member’s bill to legalise marriage equality with a free vote of Parliament.

© AAP Image/Joel Carrett Supporters of marriage equality have been calling on members of federal parliament to pass legislation and avoid a same-sex marriage plebiscite.

Turnbull had been unequivocal about his desire to hold the plebiscite as soon as possible – ideally before the year was out – in the lead-up to the 2 July election.  But after he was elected as prime minister he appeared to shy from the commitment, indicating on 18 July that it may be delayed until 2017.

A spokesman for Turnbull could not be reached for immediate comment by Guardian Australia.

A plebiscite is a direct vote of all the members of the country on an important public policy issue, but is distinct from a referendum because the constitution does not need to be changed.
The plebiscite would be followed by a vote in parliament, and various government members have signalled that they would not be led by its result.

Some, including senators Eric Abetz and Cory Bernardi, have said they would abstain or vote against the legislation that would come before the parliament if the plebiscite was passed.

In July a poll found that only 48% of Australians backed a marriage equality plebiscite, casting doubt over the government’s claim the “overwhelming majority” of Australians were in favour of the idea.
The issue had caused rifts among marriage equality advocates, who were split over whether to launch a campaign to win over the public or push for a free vote in parliament.

Rodney Croome resigned as the national director of Australian Marriage Equality at the start of this month.  He was among many campaigners who feared that a plebiscite campaign could put vulnerable members of the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex community at risk.
“If there is a plebiscite, and when the first gay kid dies at his own hand because of the hate and fear-mongering, I have to be able to look at myself in the mirror and know I did everything I could to stop it … everything,” said Croome.
